Located in the City of London, Plaisterers’ Hall is a hidden gem, the venue boasts a variety of spaces that can be tailored to suit different wedding styles. From the impressive Great Hall to the intimate Humber Room, this neo-classical venue has the flexibility to host weddings from 20 to 250 guests.

On 26th April 2023, Weddings by eve invited a group of industry professionals to Plaisterers’ Hall for our exclusive Bouquets & Banqueting event, we wanted to highlight the unique features of Plaisterers’ Hall and show the countless opportunities for unforgettable weddings. Weddings by eve aim is to create a community across the venue sales team, suppliers and of course the couples who host their weddings with us. The hope was for this occasion to be the beginning of some of these valued connections.

Upon their arrival, the guests were guided to the impressive Great Hall for prosecco or Aperol Spritz (we may have been a little ahead of the sunshine for this one!!). Invitees uncovered the historical features of the venue, including the ornate plasterwork and grand chandeliers. The drinks reception gave them a chance to network with contacts in the industry.

Once everyone had become acquainted, the floristry workshop began, hosted by the iconic Hayford & Rhodes, their expert florists guided our guests through the process of creating their centrepieces, which would later be placed on the dining table to complete the gorgeous tablescape. Working within the industry, they had all seen event décor come to life before, but having their creation on the table certainly added a special touch.

We then moved through to the Livery Hall for dinner created by Plaisterers’ Hall in-house chefs from Company of Cooks. The delicious meal went down a treat, especially the lemon posset for dessert.

The sea of pink on the table was every young girl’s dream. In addition to the beautiful florals, Options Great Hire supplied the tableware, and the linen was from Just 4 Linen. The stationery was handmade by Dimitria Jordan and included a magnetic bookmark for guests to take home along with their floral creations. To complete the atmosphere, Blank Canvas provided pianist Ben H.

The Bouquets & Banqueting event was a resounding success, introducing the venue to key London planners and giving a unique experience. Guests added that the floristry workshop was a special touch, and it was nice to have an activity to take part in beyond the standard drinks and dinner, others noted it was great to make authentic connections with other industry individuals in such an intimate setting.

Creating this memorable experience will be a key tool to keep Plaisterers’ Hall and Weddings by eve at the forefront of people’s minds, we can’t wait to produce further unforgettable events across the portfolio.
