The Royal Opera House is a unique venue – home to The Royal Opera, The Royal Ballet and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, we bring together the world’s most extraordinary artists in more than 500 performances each year in our two world-class theatres.
There are a wide variety of spaces available for hire, giving you the opportunity to host an unforgettable event in an iconic venue that is both historic and contemporary in the heart of London’s West End.
All proceeds support the future of ballet, opera, dance and music at the Royal Opera House.

The Linbury Theatre
The Linbury Theatre, one of the newest and most technically advanced theatres in the West End, is the perfect space for a variety of conference-style events. With flexible staging and seating layouts, it can accommodate up to 350 guests and has all AV needs built in.

Set in the heart of the West End, a stone’s throw from Covent Garden, this venue provides the perfect backdrop to wow your guests for private galas and awards ceremonies, from 50 up to 350 guests.
Paul Hamlyn Hall
The Paul Hamlyn Hall, completed in 1860, was originally the old flower market. With its magnificent barrelled roof and stunning ironwork, this light and spacious venue is perfectly suited for grand seated occasions when you really want to offer something truly unique and exclusive.

3Drinks Receptions at The Royal Opera House
Hidden away above the rooftops of Covent Garden you will find the perfect place to unwind and experience the Covent Garden Piazza from a different angle. With its elegant seating and fantastic views, the terrace is covered and heated, offering an outdoor space in the heart of London, whatever the weather.
This semiprivate, flexible space can accommodate up to 100 guests for a standing reception. You can enjoy the last of the evening sunshine whilst our in-house caterers, Company of Cooks, keep the drinks and canapés flowing.

Company of Cooks is a specialist catering and hospitality business that operates across many sectors throughout the UK and Ireland including workplaces, education, destinations, events, venues, livery and healthcare. Providing catering to the Royal Opera House since 2008, Company of Cooks has been helping to pair world-renowned arts with world-class food.

The nearest underground station is Covent Garden. The nearest stations with step-free access are Leicester Square, Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
The nearest mainline train stations are Charing Cross, London Waterloo and London Euston. Charing Cross has good wheelchair access and is 0.5 miles away from the Royal Opera House.
Our closest bus stops are Aldwych, Drury Lane and Leicester Square Station.
We do not have on site parking facilities. The nearest NCP car parks are Drury Lane and Shelton Street. There are a limited number of disabled access parking bays in Bow Street and Floral Street.
